Tranh Ngoc Nguyen completed her MPH (Master of Public Health) at the Mercer University in Georgia. Her thesis topic was on “International Geographic Variations in Breast Cancer Incidence and Its Possible Association with Dietary Fat Consumption.” She got the chance to present the thesis at the 2009 National Environmental Public Health Conference with her research advisor. She was working for DeKalb County Board of Health on the H1N1 prevention program in 2009 to 2010. Currently, she is working for BPSOS in Atlanta as a health awareness and prevention program coordinator focusing on cancer prevention among the Vietnamese community in GA and raising awareness on different type of chronic diseases. She also has a chance to work with Emory researcher to do a pilot study to investigate the Vietnamese Community Acceptability of Hepatitis B Vaccine and Other Vaccines in Atlanta metro areas.
