Dr. Nghi Nguyen

Nghi Van Nguyen, M.D, graduated from the Saigon Faculty of Medicine in 1964. He was clinically trained at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, N.H. (1976-1979), and certified as a consultant by The American Board of Anesthesiology (1982). Nghi lives Pittsburgh, PA and has been married to Hanh N. Nguyen for 39 years. They have four grown children.

Nghi was Attending physician for 22 years and Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia for seven years at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center in Natrona Heights, PA. Nghi was Pennsylvania delegate to the White House conference on Families and was appointed by Pennsylvania Governor Thornburg as a member of the Commission on Heritage Affairs of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania . He served the Vietnamese Catholic community of Pittsburgh, the Vietnamese Association of Pittsburgh, and the Indochinese Mutual Assistance Association of Pittsburgh in various capacities.

Nghi is currently a freelance anesthesiologist in Pittsburgh. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnamese Association of Pittsburgh, Chairman of the Board of Delegates of the Vietnamese American community of Pennsylvania, and has been an Attending physician at the Marian Days, Congregation of Mother Coredemptrix in Carthage, MO for 24 consecutive years.
