Anh Nguyen

Anh Nguyen is a Partnership and Data Services Specialist from the U.S. Census Bureau - Atlanta Region. Anh came to the United States in 1992. He studied History of Architecture and Southeast Asian history at Cornell University, NY, where he focused his research on the manifestation of social and political history in the process of architectural productions. Before relocating to Atlanta, he worked as a Southeast Asian Program Manager at the Center for New Americans in Syracuse, NY. Anh also served as a Vietnamese community liaison with different government, business and educational agencies.

Anh is a member of the Vietnamese Holy Martyrs Mission, a large and growing Vietnamese Catholic community in Atlanta, GA. His community involvement includes BPSOS-Atlanta, Vietnamese American Community of GA, Center for Pacific Asian Community Services, Good Shepherd Services, Asian American Legal Advocacy Center, and National Association of Asian American Professionals. His primary work at the Census Bureau involves data research, data dissemination and outreach. Over the years, he has established regional and national partnerships with many Asian American communities and organizations, especially in the Southeast region.
